3 P.M. EST is an immersive installation featuring two 30-minute films which can be adapted for different spaces. Over 30 days, in 17 locations, across 9 time zones, the artists paused at 3 PM EST to observe and capture the sky’s transience. The work reflects on the nature of collective presence and plurality in an era where distraction and binaries dominate.

Rather than chasing a spectacle that’s exaggerated, the artists create a quieter phenomenon rooted in the simple act of noticing. Amid constant digital noise and dispersed attention, 3PM EST repositions slowing down and noticing as intentional acts of resistance.
